What SiteModeAI does
SiteModeAI provides website activity reporting designed to minimize collection of personal information. The website connection code does not set analytics cookies, use localStorage visitor identifiers, or create browser fingerprints.
Website activity data collected
For configured websites, SiteModeAI may record the page path, referring website hostname, a coarsened screen width, browser language, the website's SiteModeAI site ID, the time of the event, a limited action category such as a WhatsApp click, phone link click, email link click, form submission or configured important-button click, and supported real-visitor performance measurements such as content paint, interaction responsiveness and layout stability. SiteModeAI does not receive the text a visitor types into form fields. The application is designed not to store visitor IP addresses, browser fingerprints or full user-agent strings in website activity tables.
Optional internal-traffic exclusion
An account holder can ask SiteModeAI not to count traffic from the public network address they are currently using for a selected website. SiteModeAI stores a one-way keyed hash for that exclusion rather than the raw network address. If the public address changes, the exclusion may need to be enabled again.
Account data
Account holders provide an email address and may provide a name. Passwords are stored as salted password hashes, not as plain-text passwords.
Infrastructure
SiteModeAI uses service providers to host the application and database. Those providers may process technical connection information as part of operating their infrastructure under their own terms and policies.
Retention and deletion
Website activity and account information may be retained while an account is active or as reasonably needed to operate the service. Account holders can permanently delete their account and associated SiteModeAI website data from the Account section. Support can also help with privacy requests.
Automated checks
Website Check and Privacy Check perform automated requests to websites added by account holders. Privacy Check can inspect returned pages, cookies, common tracking tools, third-party resources, selected security headers, mixed-content signals and other visible website basics. It does not fully execute every website script like a human-controlled browser, so results can be incomplete. Privacy Check is not legal advice and does not certify legal compliance.
Exports and shared reports
Account holders can export their SiteModeAI data and create revocable read-only report links. Anyone who receives an active shared-report link can view the report it points to, so account holders should treat those links like other private sharing links and revoke them when no longer needed.
